The ninth edition of the podcast "Give Sense to Money" comes with news about the evolution of the national currency exchange rate, the measures taken by the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) to control fluctuations on the money market and the prospects for managing the Republic of Moldova's foreign exchange reserves.
The guest of the podcast is Daniel Savin, Director of the Financial Markets Department, the NBM's subdivision in charge of managing monetary operations, monitoring financial market risks, and managing foreign exchange reserves.
The podcast host, Liliana Barbarosie, discusses with her guest the stability of the national currency, its resilience to the challenges posed by the current crises and the immediate and future prospects. The central bank specialist also explains how decisions are taken on the appropriateness of interventions in the money market, as well as on the management of foreign exchange reserves.
