
Arcadie Albul was appointed Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Member of the Executive Board, by Decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova no. 200 of December 3, 2021 with effect from March 1, 2022.
Arcadie Albul was born in 1985 in Chisinau. He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova with a master’s degree in Finance and Banking Administration (2011).
Arcadie Albul obtained the professional qualification of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2012 (membership self-suspended in 2018) and the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification in 2015 (active membership status).
At the time of his appointment, Arcadie Albul has over 10 years of experience in the banking sector. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, he worked as a specialist in financial instruments valuation, secretary and member of the TPAMOC (Third Party Asset Management Oversight Committee) of the BIS - Bank for International Settlements (Basel, Switzerland).
Arcadie Albul started his professional career in 2006 as an analyst at Magenta Consulting.
Between 2008 and 2010, he worked as a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Chisinau, Moldova).
From 2010 to 2012, he was employed as a financial reporting specialist at the European Central Bank (Frankfurt am Main, Germany).
During 2012-2022, he worked at the BIS - Bank for International Settlements (Basel, Switzerland).
