In 2025, the volume of cumulative cash releases from bank vaults exceeded the volume of cumulative cash receipts in the banking system1 by MDL 5,960.7 million.
In the reference period, the volume of cumulative cash receipts amounted to MDL 183,671.0 million, increased by MDL 9,638.6 million (+5.5%) compared to the similar period of the previous year.
Cash receipts from the sale of consumer goods (regardless of the sales channel) amounted to MDL 107,244.1 million, representing 58.4% of the total volume of receipts (Chart 1), with an increase of MDL 4,802.9 million (+4.7%).
The volume of cash receipts in individuals’ current and deposit accounts amounted to MDL 18,394.1 million, increasing by MDL 2,321.1 million (+14.4%).
