Analysis of the volume of cash operations in domestic currency for May 2026

In May 2026, the volume of cash releases from banks vaults exceeded the volume of cash receipts in their vaults¹ by MDL 412 million.

The volume of cash receipts in May 2026 amounted to MDL 15,118 million, decreasing by MDL 43 million (-0.3%) compared to May 2025.

Cash receipts from the sales of consumer goods amounted to MDL 9,112 million (60.3% of the total receipts), increasing by MDL 216 million (+2.4%).
