The National Committee on Financial Stability, in extended composition, held its ordinary meeting on September 15th, 2023, in accordance with the calendar of ordinary meetings for the current year, approved by the Committee on December 20, 2022.
The meeting discussions focused mainly on the risks in the banking sector, non-bank lending, and the insurance sector. Furthermore, in accordance with Law No 209/2018 on the National Committee on Financial Stability, the extended Committee has approved the Strategy regarding the macroprudential policy, which establishes the operational framework for achieving the objectives of the macroprudential policy, in order to ensure the transparency and predictability of the decision-making process.
The next ordinary meeting of the National Committee on Financial Stability is scheduled to take place in December 2023.
