The Group of Banking Supervisors from Central and Eastern Europe is a regional organization, without legal personality, which promotes cooperation among the banking supervisory institutions of Central and Eastern European countries.

Additionally, to the NBM benefits from methodological assistance in the field of prudential regulation of banks. Collaboration within the BSCEE fosters the competitiveness of the domestic banking sector and its ability to attract investments, including foreign ones, resulting in an increased capacity of banks to satisfy the demand for banking services of the various sectors and industries of the economy.
