Petru Rotaru, First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, participated in the conference dedicated to the celebration of the Accountants and Auditors Professional Day, which is annually marked on 4th April.
In his speech to the professionals in this field, the First Deputy Governor noted the potential and responsibility of accountants to understand not only the realities of the companies in which they work, but also the national economic context, including the need to constantly adapt to developments in the legislative field.
"Many processes have been digitalized, but ultimately, the human factor, the expertise and the integrity of professionals in this field are decisive in ensuring the quality of financial information and the decisions based on it," stated Petru Rotaru.
The First Deputy Governor further highlighted that when financial management at the company level is characterized by optimized costs, accurate reporting and proper planning, the most favourable conditions for overall economic stability are created.
The celebration of Accountants and Auditors Day was established in 2010. It provides an opportunity for professional discussions on the interaction between taxpayers and authorities, new regulations, professional ethics, as well as the ability of professionals in this field to adapt to changes in the economic environment.
