The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) organizes on Friday, 27 November 2020, an online event dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the introduction of the Moldovan leu.
During the event, the NBM Governor, Octavian Armașu, will talk about the role of the national currency in the economy and will present the new commemorative and jubilee currencies, the 2020 edition. At the same time, there will be organized a virtual museum exhibition of coins by a specialist of the National Museum of History of Moldova, making a foray into the history of money.
At the end of the event, participants will take part in a thematic quiz: "What do we know about the Moldovan leu" and the first five winners will be awarded with sets of coins.

The event will start at 2 p.m. Subsequently, upon request, a certificate of participation signed by the NBM Governor will be provided.
