According to preliminary data, in Quarter I, 2026, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of EUR -806,2 million, the capital account recorded a net inflow amounting to EUR 7,2 million, and the financial account recorded a net inflow of EUR 641,7 million.
As of 03/31/2026, the international investment position amounted to EUR -6 619,4 million, while the gross external debt totaled EUR 10 520,6 million.
