According to preliminary data, in Quarter II, 2026, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of EUR -886,4 million, the capital account recorded a net inflow amounting to EUR 19,4 million, and the financial account recorded a net inflow of EUR 896,2 million.
As of 06/30/2026, the international investment position amounted to EUR -6 586,9 million, while the gross external debt totaled EUR 10 423,6 million.
