In order to further calibrate the optimal monetary policy measures for bringing inflation back within the target range, the National Bank of Moldova shall prepare the medium-term inflation forecast, taking into account the details of the extended support package provided by the European Union.

Pentru calibrarea ulterioară a măsurilor de politică monetară optime pentru revenirea inflației în intervalul de variație a țintei, Banca Națională a Moldovei elaborează prognoza inflației pe termen mediu, luând în considerare detaliile pachetului extins de sprijin acordat de către Uniunea Europeană.

В целях дальнейшей калибровки оптимальных мер денежно-кредитной политики для возвращения инфляции в целевой диапазон НБМ подготовит среднесрочный прогноз инфляции с учетом деталей расширенного пакета поддержки, предоставленного Европейским союзом.

În luna decembrie 2024, baza monetară s-a majorat cu 1 465,5 milioane lei (+1,8 la sută) față de luna noiembrie 2024 și a constituit 82 623,7 milioane lei, fiind cu 0,3 la sută mai mare față de perioada similară a anului precedent.

În luna decembrie 2024, creditele noi acordate au constituit 8 096,4 milioane lei, în creștere cu 22,8 la sută față de luna noiembrie 2024.

În luna decembrie 2024, depozitele noi  atrase la termen au constituit 6 046,3 milioane lei, majorându-se cu 94,3 la sută față de luna noiembrie 2024.

In December 2024 the monetary base increased by MDL 1,465.5 million (+1.8%) compared to November 2024 and amounted to MDL 82,623.7 million, being 0.3% higher than in the similar period of the previous year.

In December 2024, new granted loans amounted to MDL 8,096.4 million, increasing by 22.8% compared to November 2024

In December 2024, new term deposits attracted totalled MDL 6,046.3 million, increasing by 94.3% as compared to November 2024.

The convening of the unplanned meeting resulted from the need to adjust the monetary policy in order to alleviate the pressures on the inflationary process in the context of recent tariff increases.
