This decision is adopted from the perspective of ensuring the continuity of stimulus measures in the context of the monetary policy relaxation cycle started at the end of the previous year amid well-founded premises associated with the creation of a disinflationary macroeconomic framework.

Исполнительный комитет Национального банка Молдовы на заседании от 07.02.2023 года единогласно принял решение установить базисную ставку, применяемую по основным краткосрочным операциям денежной политики, на уровне 17,00% годовых.

Această decizie este adoptată din perspectiva asigurării continuității măsurilor stimulative în contextul ciclului de relaxare a politicii monetare început la sfârșitul anului precedent pe fondul unor premise întemeiate asociate conturării unui cadru macroeconomic dezinflaționist.

În luna decembrie 2022, creditele noi acordate au constituit 4 378,3 milioane lei, în scădere cu 6,9 la sută față de luna decembrie 2021.

În luna decembrie 2022, baza monetară s-a majorat cu 583,4 milioane lei (0,8 la sută) față de luna precedentă și a constituit 74 979,6 milioane lei, fiind cu 30,3 la sută mai mare față de perioada similară a anului precedent.

В декабре 2022 г. денежная база  увеличилась на 583,4 млн леев (0,8%) по сравнению с предыдущим месяцем и составила 74 979,6 млн леев, что на 30,3% больше, чем в аналогичном периоде прошлого года.

In December 2022, the monetary base   increased by MDL 583.4 million (0.8%) compared to the previous month and amounted to MDL 74,979.6 million, being 30.3% higher than in the similar period of the previous year.

В декабре 2022 г., вновь выданные кредиты  составили 4 378,3 млн леев, на 6,9% ниже декабря 2021 г.

In December 2022, new loans extended1 by banks totalled MDL 4,378.3 million, decreasing by 6.9% compared to December 2021.

The Decision of the NBM to resume monetary policy relaxation measures is conditioned by confirming the accuracy of the latest forecast of the National Bank of Moldova and the related disinflationary trend.
