Poziția investițională internațională (PII) a Republicii Moldova, la 31.03.2026, a constituit -6 619,4 mil. EUR, iar raportul dintre valoarea net debitoare a PII și PIB a constituit -36,5 la sută, fiind în descreștere cu 1,6 p.p. față de situația de la sfârșitul anului 2025.

Datoria externă brută a Republicii Moldova a totalizat 10 520,6 mil. EUR la 31.03.2026, ceea ce constituie 58,0 la sută raportat la PIB.

According to preliminary data, in Quarter I, 2026, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of EUR -806,2 million, the capital account recorded a net inflow amounting to EUR 7,2 million, and the financial account recorded a net inflow of EUR 641,7 million. As of 03/31/2026, the international investment position amounted to EUR -6 619,4 million, while the gross external debt totaled EUR 10 520,6 million.

The gross external debt of the Republic of Moldova totaled EUR 10 520,6 million as of 03/31/2026, which is 58,0% as a ratio to GDP (+1,9 p.p. as compared to 12/31/2025).
