In the third quarter of 2018, the total amount of money transfers from abroad made in favour of individuals of the Republic of Moldova amounted to USD 314.67 million.

În trimestrul III 2018, volumul total al transferurilor bancare de mijloace bănești din străinătate în favoarea persoanelor fizice din Republica Moldova a constituit 314.67 milioane dolari SUA.

The reforms that have been promoted in the banking sector by the National Bank of Moldova aim to assure the development of a healthy corporate governance and in compliance with the international principles, as well as to keep a strong, safe and transparent banking sector based on market principles.

In 2017, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit amounting to US$ 562.07 million, the capital account registered a deficit of US$ 21.35 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 507.61 million. The international investment position amounted to US$ -3,249.85 million at the end of 2017, while the gross external debt reached US$ 6,964.29 million.

В 2017 году дефицит текущего счета платежного баланса Республики Молдова составил 562.07 млн. долл. США, счет операций с капиталом зафиксировал дефицит в сумме 21.35 млн. долл. США, а финансовый счет – чистый приток капитала, равный 507.61 млн. долларов США. Международная инвестиционная позиция составила -3,249.85 млн. долларов США, в то время как валовой внешний долг достиг 6,964.29 млн. долл. США.

În anul 2017, soldul contului curent al balanţei de plăţi a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 562.07 mil. USD, contul de capital a consemnat un sold negativ de 21.35 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare de 507.61 mil. USD. Poziţia investiţională internaţională a constituit -3,249.85 mil. USD, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 6,964.29 mil. USD.
