International accounts of the Republic of Moldova, 2016 (preliminary data)

According to preliminary data, in 2016, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 276.58 million (down by 33.3 percent as compared to 2015), the capital account registered a deficit of US$ 46.71 million and the financial account recorded a net inflow of US$ 289.99 million.

The international investment position of the Republic of Moldova recorded a net debit of US$ 5,979.23 million as of 31.12.2016, 7.0% larger as compared to the end of 2015.

USD (diminuându-se cu 33.3 la sută față de anul 2015), contul de capital a înregistrat un sold negativ de 46.71 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de 289.99mil. USD. Poziţia investiţională internaţională a rămas net debitoare și a constituit -5,979.23 mil. USD, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 6,594.69 mil. USD.

В феврале 2017 г. чистый объём банковских переводов денежных средств из-за границы в пользу физических лиц Республики Молдова составил 79.03 млн. долларов США (увеличившись на 7.8% по сравнению с февралем прошлого года).
