Financial situation of the banking sector for the first quarter of 2021

During the first quarter of 2021, the National Bank of Moldova continued the process of prudential supervision of banks in the Republic of Moldova, pursuing compliance with legal requirements, in order to prevent and limit the risks specific to banking.

Informația aferentă procesului de lichidare a Băncii de Economii S.A., BC „BANCA SOCIALĂ” S.A. și B.C. „UNIBANK” S.A. la situația din 31.03.2021

Lichidatorii celor trei bănci în proces de lichidare întreprind în continuare măsuri în vederea valorificării activelor. Astfel, din data retragerii licențelor (16.10.2015) Băncii de Economii S.A., BC „BANCA SOCIALĂ” S.A. și B.C. „UNIBANK” S.A. și până la 31.03.2021 băncile în cauză au încasat mijloace bănești în sumă totală de 2 620 562,4 mii lei.

Applicants will be able to obtain some approvals from the NBM in electronic form

The possibility to obtain in electronic form the approvals of the NBM for the acquisition of a bank's shares, as well as for the appointment by the bank or the branch of another state of the members of the bank's management body, of the bank branch managers of another state and of the persons holding key will reduce costs, efforts, time and will streamline the process for both the applicant and the NBM.

Solicitanții vor putea obține unele aprobări ale BNM în formă electronică

Posibilitatea de a obține în formă electronică aprobările BNM pentru achiziționarea acțiunilor unei bănci, la fel, pentru numirea  de către bancă ori sucursala din alt stat a membrilor organului de conducere al băncii, a conducătorilor sucursalei băncii din alt stat și a persoanelor care dețin funcții-cheie va reduce costurile, eforturile, timpul alocat și va eficientiza procesul atât pentru solicitant, cât și pentru BNM.
