National Bank and the members of its decision-making bodies shall be independent in exercising the tasks conferred upon them by law, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from public authorities or from any other authority.
In order to ensure and maintain price stability over the medium term, the National Bank’s aim will be to keep inflation (measured by Consumer Price Index) at the level of 5.0 percent annually with a possible deviation of ± 1.5 percentage points, considered to be optimal for growth and development of Moldova's economy over the medium-term.

Национальный банк Молдовы (НБМ) запускает несколько мероприятий по финансовому образованию в рамках международной кампании «Global Money Week», которая в этом году пройдет с 18 по 24 марта.
Мероприятие адресовано всем, кто хочет развивать свою финансовую культуру, особенно детям и молодежи, чтобы лучше узнать финансово-банковские концепции, а также то, как правильно управлять личным бюджетом.
Так, Национальный банк в партнерстве с Независимым аналитическим центром «Эксперт-Групп» и Национальным музеем истории Молдовы организует мастер-классы, выставки монет разных времен и публичные лекции финансового образования населения по всей стране.
«Финансовое образование – это предоставление людям навыков, необходимых для повышения их благосостояния и внесения вклада в развитие экономики страны. Такое образование начинается в раннем возрасте. Дети и молодежь должны быть готовы к будущему. В этом смысле мы хотим, как центральный банк, который является национальным координатором процесса финансового образования, передать молодому поколению информацию, которая составит для него прочную основу, чтобы в дальнейшем они могли оценить экономическую ситуацию и принять правильные финансовые решения», - подчеркивает Анка Драгу, президент Национального банка Молдовы.
Так, мероприятия в рамках «Global Money Week» будут включать посещение выставочного зала НБМ, с возможностью послушать краткую историю национальной валюты и полюбоваться коллекцией памятных и юбилейных золотых и серебряных монет. Доступ будет возможен с понедельника по пятницу (18-22 марта). Также с 18 по 24 марта в Национальном музее истории Молдовы будут организованы интерактивные мастер-классы на финансовую тематику. Здесь также будет возможно полюбоваться коллекцией монет древних времен.
Участие в мероприятии будет возможно по предварительной регистрации. Будут формироваться группы до 35 человек в возрасте от 9 лет. Учеников будет сопровождать взрослый, который будет отвечать за безопасность несовершеннолетних во время поездки или мастер-класса. Запросы можно отправлять до 13 марта 2024 года на адрес электронной почты edufin@bnm.md. Посещения будут организованы в любое фиксированное время, с 13:00 до 16:00.
Международная неделя финансового образования (Global Money Week) — международная инициатива, запущенная 12 лет назад, к которой присоединились 176 стран. Она способствует осознанию важности финансового образования для развития обоснованных финансовых взглядов и навыков, необходимых для принятия повседневных финансовых решений.
