The Moldovan economy recorded a 6.4 percent growth during 2011 as compared to the previous year. At the end of 2011, the annual inflation rate constituted 7.8 percent, while the annual core inflation recorded a value of 6.1 percent in December 2011.

Economia Republicii Moldova pe parcursul anului 2011 a consemnat o creştere de 6.4 la sută faţă de anul precedent. La sfârşitul anului 2011 ritmul anual al inflaţiei a constituit 7.8 la sută.

The economic achievements recorded in 2010 indicate that the Republic of Moldova has gradually recovered and overcame the consequences of the global financial crisis. Moldova's economy in 2010 recorded an increase of 6.9 percent compared to the previous year, as a result of improving the situation in all sectors of the economy.

Realizările economice ale Republicii Moldova denotă că anul 2010 poate fi considerat anul recuperării treptate şi a depăşirii consecinţelor crizei financiare globale.

После двух лет финансово-экономического кризиса, резкий спад в мировой экономике постепенно уступил возрождению на основных эмергентных рынках и в отдельных развитых странах. Валовой внутренний продукт (ВВП) Республики Молдова, предусмотренный на 2009г., сократился в реальном выражении на 6.5% по сравнению с предыдущим годом.
 

After two years of economic and financial crisis, the severe decline of the global activity started to recover gradually on the major emerging markets and in some advanced countries. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Republic of Moldova, estimated for 2009, declined in real terms by 6.5 percent compared to the previous year.
 

După doi ani de criză economică şi financiară declinul sever din activitatea mondială a făcut treptat loc relansării pe principalele pieţe emergente şi în unele ţări avansate.

Evoluţia economiei mondiale a fost determinată în mare parte de problemele pe de piaţa financiară a Statelor Unite ale Americii apărute la mijlocul anului 2007, care s-au extins în restul lumii şi începând cu luna septembrie 2008, s-au transformat într-o criză financiară internaţională. 

В 2008г. темп роста мировой экономики оценивался на реальном уровне в 3.4%.
