Strategic Plan of the National Bank of Moldova

Strategic Planning represents the systematic process, whereby the NBM establishes the key priorities for the fulfillment of its mission, in accordance with the changing environment where it carries out its activities.

The Strategic Planning is an indispensable element of the corporate governance that determines the directions to be followed and aims at achieving the necessary objectives and steps.

The Strategic Plan is approved by the Executive Board for a period of 5 years. The first Strategic plan of the National Bank of Moldova was approved for the period of 2013-2017.

The Strategic Plan includes components that may be divided into two major categories: fundamentals elements – mission, vision, values, basic fields of activity; and operational elements – the strategic objectives, operational objectives, analysis, actions, key performance indicators.
