National Bank and the members of its decision-making bodies shall be independent in exercising the tasks conferred upon them by law, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from public authorities or from any other authority.

Conturile internaționale în trimestrul I 2020 (date provizorii) – materialul analitic integral

Deficitul contului curent al balanței de plăți a Republicii Moldova, în trimestrul I 2020, s-a redus atât ca valoare absolută (-20,9 la sută comparativ cu trimestrul I 2019), cât și relativ la PIB (constituind -7,6 la sută față de -9,9 la sută în trimestrul I 2019). Această dinamică a fost determinată de majorarea excedentelor înregistrate la veniturile primare și secundare, în timp ce balanțele bunurilor și serviciilor s-au deteriorat.
În pofida scăderii considerabile a volumului fizic al bunurilor exportate (-10,8 la sută), valoarea exporturilor s-a redus nesemnificativ grație majorării prețurilor (+3,2 la sută). Din punct de vedere geografic, scăderea exporturilor a fost determinată de categoria „alte țări” (altele decât UE și CSI), exporturile către acestea diminuându-se cu 25,5 la sută față de trimestrul I 2019. Exporturile către țările CSI, de asemenea, au scăzut cu 7,1 la sută, în timp ce exporturile către țarile UE-27 (fără Marea Britanie) au crescut cu 14,0 la sută.
Majorarea importului de bunuri, de asemenea, a fost modestă. Cu toate că volumul fizic al bunurilor importate a crescut (+5,2 la sută), majorarea importurilor a fost temperată de scăderea prețurilor la bunurile importate (-4,9 la sută), în special la produsele minerale (-16,7 la sută).
Balanța comerțului exterior cu servicii, deși a rămas excedentară, a continuat tendința negativă care s-a început în trimestrul III 2019. Declinul înregistrat în balanța serviciilor a fost determinat de continuarea trendului descendent al exporturilor de servicii de prelucrare a materiei prime, precum și al exporturilor de servicii de transport de mărfuri, în special prin conducte şi reţele electrice și pe cale ferată. Impactul negativ a fost estompat în continuare de creșterea semnificativă a exporturilor de servicii de informatică.
Majorarea excedentului veniturilor primare a fost determinată de creșterea remunerării salariaților rezidenți pentru munca prestată patronilor nerezidenți, dar și de scăderea plăților de dividende investitorilor direcți nerezidenți.
Veniturile secundare, de asemenea, au înregistrat o creștere a excedentului, generată de majorarea transferurilor curente primite de sectorul privat de la nerezidenți.
În contul financiar al balanței de plăți a fost înregistrată o creștere considerabilă a intrărilor nete de capital sub formă de credite comerciale și avansuri, care au reprezentat principala sursă de finanțare a deficitului de cont curent în trimestrul I 2020. De asemenea, la finanțarea deficitului de cont curent au contribuit activele de rezervă ale BNM, activele sub formă de numerar și depozite ale populației, investițiile directe și împrumuturile externe.
