NBM will collaborate with "Aristotel" lyceum in financial education activities

The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) has signed a partnership agreement with the Republican Theoretical Lyceum "Aristotel" in Chisinau in the field of financial education.

The agreement provides for collaboration between the central bank and the educational institution in projects and activities aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of responsible financial behaviour and strengthening the financial knowledge of different categories of citizens.

The parties aim to provide mutual organisational and informational support for an explicit and engaging dialogue between specialists, opinion formers and the general public on the subject of financial education. The NBM undertakes to carry out didactic and extracurricular activities for pupils of the "Aristotel" Lyceum, as well as other activities related to financial education. The Lyceum, on the other hand, will send, at the request and invitation of the central bank, representatives to educational events with a financial subject. Showing a constant interest in the field of finance and financial education, the Republican Theoretical Lyceum "Aristotel" in Chisinau actively takes part, through voluntary actions, in different financial education events organized by the NBM.

The National Bank of Moldova, in its role as national coordinator of the financial education process, aims to expand the list of actors involved in this process in order to improve citizens' financial knowledge and ensure a thoughtful and well-balanced financial behaviour.
