Organised visits by the NBM to the National Museum of History of Moldova are scheduled on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Moldovan leu

The National Bank of Moldova is organizing a series of public events to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Moldovan leu. These include visits to the National Museum of History of Moldova in partnership with the institution, which will take place from 25 to 30 November 2023.

The museum is open to all those interested in exploring the history of coins from ancient times to the present day and observing the precious archaeological evidence on display. Participants of all ages, including children, young and old, parents and grandparents, are welcome to embark on a journey through the monetary chronicle to expand their horizons and appreciate the art of coinage from its inception.

Upon entering the museum, visitors will receive an access ticket in the form of a card, containing QR codes linked to the National Bank's official website and other useful information for consumers.

Visits are free of charge and are organised as follows: on weekends, according to the museum's opening hours, and on workdays (Monday to Thursday) at fixed times from 1 to 4 p.m.

Groups of 20 to 30 people, aged 12 and above, will be formed. Pupils should be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety during the visit.

For Monday to Thursday, school groups should register in advance at edufin@bnm.md. Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received.
