The National Bank of Moldova continues its internship programme for young people from the academic diaspora who are eager to gain first-hand insight into the workings of the central bank and further strengthen the skills and knowledge they have acquired during their studies abroad.

The National Bank of Moldova has opened registration for the seventh edition of the "The Meaning of Money" Financial Education Camp. The programme is designed for young people aged 16 and above who wish to strengthen their financial skills and gain a better understanding of the role of the financial system in the economy.

The headquarters of the NBM was transformed today into a place of curiosity and discovery. More than 60 children, aged between 7 and 10, stepped into the world of money, learning in an engaging and age-appropriate way about the role of a central bank and how to make responsible financial decisions.

The Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Ms. Anca Dragu, met today with undergraduate and graduate students from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), who were selected through a competitive process to participate in this year’s first edition of the “School of Modern Finance” program.

The Concept for the Implementation Programme of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy of the Republic of Moldova 2030 (NFIS 2030 Programme) has been published together with the announcement initiating the drafting of the project.

The National Bank of Moldova will organise the event “In the world of Bănuț” on Sunday, 31 May, on the eve of International Children’s Day.
