International accounts of the Republic of Moldova in 2022 (preliminary quarterly data)

According to preliminary data in 2022, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 2 275,20 million, the capital account recorded a positive balance amounting to US$ 20,17 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 2 357,17 million. As of 12/31/2022, the international investment position amounted to US$ -6 041,22 million, while the gross external debt totaled US$ 9 457,80 million.

Conform datelor preliminare, în anul 2022, soldul contului curent al balanței de plăți a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 2 275,20 mil. USD, contul de capital a înregistrat un excedent de 20,17 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare de 2 357,17 mil. USD. La 31.12.2022, poziția investițională internațională a constituit -6 041,22 mil. USD, iar datoria externă a totalizat 9 457,80 mil. USD.
