International accounts of the Republic of Moldova for 2020 (preliminary data)

According to preliminary data, in 2020, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 795,73 million, the capital account registered a negative balance amounting to US$ 61,10 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 942,62 million. The international investment position amounted to US$ -5 493,85 million as of 12/31/2020, while the gross external debt totaled US$ 8 357,73 million.

Conform datelor preliminare, în anul 2020, soldul contului curent al balanţei de plăţi a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 795,73 mil. USD, contul de capital a înregistrat un sold negativ de 61,10 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare 942,62 mil. USD. Poziţia investiţională internaţională a constituit -5 493,85 mil. USD la 31.12.2020, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 8 357,73 mil. USD.
