According to preliminary data, in Quarter III, 2022, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 618,20 million, the capital account recorded a positive balance amounting to US$ 11,17 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 526,46 million. As of 09/30/2022, the international investment position amounted to US$ -5 686,98 million, while the gross external debt totaled US$ 8 885,50 million.

2021 was a year of recovery for Moldova's economy, and at the same time, a year in which the economic situation and not just the economic one, both internationally and domestically, changed dramatically.

The current inflation forecast, compared to the previous inflation report, has been revised downwards for the first two consecutive quarters and for the last quarter of the comparable period and upwards for the rest of the period.

Prognoza actuală a inflației, față de cea din raportul asupra inflației anterior, a fost revizuită în sens descendent pentru primele două trimestre consecutive și pentru ultimul trimestru al perioadei comparabile și ascendent pentru restul perioadei. 

По предварительным данным, во II квартале 2022 года, дефицит текущего счета платежного баланса Республики Молдова достиг 441,63 млн. долл. США, счет операций с капиталом зафиксировал дефицит на сумму 1,65 млн. долл. США, а финансовый счет – чистый приток капитала, равный 465,79 млн. долл. США. Международная инвестиционная позиция на 30.06.2022 составила -5 840,94 млн. долл. США, в то время как валовой внешний долг достиг 8 687,24 млн. долл. США.

Conform datelor preliminare, în trimestrul II 2022, soldul contului curent al balanței de plăți a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 441,63 mil. USD, contul de capital a înregistrat un sold negativ de 1,65 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare de 465,79 mil. USD. La 30.06.2022, poziţia investiţională internaţională a constituit -5 840,94 mil. USD, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 8 687,24 mil. USD.

The year of 2021 can be considered one of recovery of the national economy after the pandemic crisis and of resumption of activities after the decline in 2020. 

Pe parcursul anului 2021, economia mondială a înregistrat o revigorare după pandemia COVID-19 din 2020.
