According to preliminary data, in 2022, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 2 275,20 million (US$ 618,07 in Quarter IV, 2022), a 33,9% increase as compared to the previous year. The current account to GDP ratio amounted to -15,8%.

The capital account recorded a positive balance amounting to US$ 20,17 million (US$ 19,73 in Quarter IV, 2022), and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 2 357,17 million (US$ 676,24 in Quarter IV, 2022).
