National Bank and the members of its decision-making bodies shall be independent in exercising the tasks conferred upon them by law, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from public authorities or from any other authority.

În martie 2021, banii în circulație (M0)1 au constituit 30 426,1 mil. lei, majorându-se cu 607,2 mil. lei (2,0 la sută) comparativ cu decembrie 2020 (diagrama nr.1) ca rezultat al depășirii în perioada ianuarie - martie 2021 a volumului eliberărilor cumulative asupra volumului încasărilor cumulative pe sistemul bancar cu 607,3 mil. lei2.

În perioada ianuarie - martie 2021, volumul încasărilor banilor în numerar s-a majorat cu 7,4 la sută față de perioada similară a anului precedent și a constituit 31 584,0 mil. lei. Creșterea volumului încasărilor de mijloace bănești a fost determinată, preponderent, de majorarea cu 9,7 la sută a încasărilor din comercializarea mărfurilor de consum (indiferent de canalul de desfacere), care dețin cea mai mare pondere (de 55,2 la sută) din volumul total al încasărilor (Diagrama nr. 2). Evoluția respectivă a fost susținută de majorarea practic a tuturor surselor de încasări de numerar. Totodată, volumul încasărilor din vânzarea valutei persoanelor fizice s-a micșorat cu 27,4 la sută (ponderea fiind 3,1 la sută) comparativ cu perioada similară a anului precedent.

Totodată, în luna martie 2021, volumul încasărilor a constituit 11 862,7 mil. lei (+18,6 la sută față de luna februarie 2021 și +31,9 la sută față de luna martie 2020).
Volumul eliberărilor banilor în numerar din casele băncilor licențiate în perioada ianuarie - martie 2021 s-a majorat cu 7,6 la sută comparativ cu perioadă similară a anului precedent și a constituit 32 191,2 mil. lei (Diagrama nr.3).

Scopurile principale ale eliberărilor banilor în numerar din casele băncilor licențiate și dinamica lunară a acestora
Modificarea respectivă a fost determinată, preponderent, de creșterea eliberărilor pentru cumpărarea valutei de la persoane fizice cu 1093,2 mil. lei (13,7 la sută), cifrându-se la 9 074,3 mil. lei (echivalentul a 511,8 mil. USD3). Ponderea acestora a crescut cu 1,5 p.p. și a constituit 28,2 la sută din volumul total al eliberărilor de numerar.
Totodată, eliberările din conturile persoanelor fizice4 s-au majorat cu 5,4 la sută, constituind 7 329,4 mil.lei, ceea ce reprezintă 22,8 la sută din volumul total al eliberărilor.
De menționat că, o pondere semnificativă de 19,2 la sută din volumul total al eliberărilor au avut eliberările din bancomate, care s-au micșorat în perioada ianuarie - martie 2021 cu 1,1 la sută comparativ cu perioada similară a anului precedent.
În luna martie volumul eliberărilor a constituit 11 836,2 mil. lei, în scădere cu 26,5 mil. lei comparativ cu volumul încasărilor. Comparativ cu luna februarie 2021, eliberările de numerar s-au majorat cu 1246,4 mil. lei sau cu 11,8 la sută.
1. Banii în circulație (M0) reprezintă banii în numerar puși în circulație de către BNM, cu excepția numerarului în casele băncilor şi în casa BNM;
2. În volumul încasărilor și eliberărilor sunt incluse tranzacțiile cu monedele comemorative;
3. Recalculate cu utilizarea ratei oficiale medii de schimb;
4. Se includ conturile curente, de depozit si conturile de card.
