National Bank and the members of its decision-making bodies shall be independent in exercising the tasks conferred upon them by law, and shall neither seek nor take instructions from public authorities or from any other authority.
In order to ensure and maintain price stability over the medium term, the National Bank’s aim will be to keep inflation (measured by Consumer Price Index) at the level of 5.0 percent annually with a possible deviation of ± 1.5 percentage points, considered to be optimal for growth and development of Moldova's economy over the medium-term.
National Bank shall have the exclusive right to issue on the territory of the Republic of Moldova banknotes and coins as legal tender, as well as commemorative and jubilee banknotes and coins as legal tender and for numismatic purposes.

Исполнительный комитет Национального банка Молдовы (НБМ) единогласно принял решение сохранить базисную ставку, применяемую по основным краткосрочным операциям денежной политики на текущем уровне, в размере 7,5% годовых. Без изменений останется и величина других инструментов денежной политики: 10,5% годовых для процентных ставок по кредитам овернайт и 4,5% годовых по депозитам овернайт.-
Одновременно было принято решение о том, что нормы обязательных резервов будут поддерживаться на текущем уровне - 42,5% и, соответственно, 17,0% от расчетной базы
Решение было принято после оценки самых последних макроэкономических данных.
Таким образом, прогноз НБМ по инфляции остается в силе, и инфляционные давления сохранятся до конца текущего года. Они будет в основном определяться агрегированным спросом, увеличением единичной стоимости труда и сезонным эффектом. Ситуация изменится в первом квартале 2020 года, когда инфляция начнет снижаться.
В сентябре годовой уровень инфляции составил 6,3%. Таким образом, он развивался согласно прогнозу.
Согласно имеющимся данным, в первой половине года наблюдался выраженный экономический рост, который будет продолжаться до конца текущего года, но более скромный. Во втором квартале 2019 года инвестиции населения увеличились по отношению к потреблению, в том числе за счет увеличения доходов.
В то же время объем новых кредитов, выданных в национальной валюте в течение предыдущего квартала, составил 5,8 миллиарда леев, зарегистрировав годовой рост 26,1%. Стоит отметить, что физические и юридические лица имели ту же долю, которая составила 50% от общего объема выданных кредитов.
На сегодняшнем заседании Исполнительного комитета был утвержден Обзор инфляции № 4, 2019, который будет опубликован на следующей неделе.
НБМ будет продолжать отслеживать и прогнозировать внутренние и внешние макроэкономические изменения, риски и неопределенности, связанные с краткосрочными и среднесрочными темпами инфляции, для обеспечения поддержания стабильности цен на среднесрочный период.
Следующее заседание по монетарной политике состоится.11 декабря 2019 года.
