In June 2022, the monetary base increased by MDL 2,190.3 million (3.7%) compared to the previous month and constituted MDL 61,937.7 million, being 11.0% higher than in the similar period of the previous year.

În luna iunie 2022, baza monetară s-a majorat cu 2 190,3 milioane lei (3,7 la sută) față de luna precedentă și a constituit 61 937,7 milioane lei, fiind cu 11,0 la sută mai mare față de perioada similară a anului precedent.

În iunie 2022, banii în circulație (M0) au constituit 30 601,8 mil. lei, micșorându-se cu 1 096,9 mil. lei (3,5 la sută) comparativ cu decembrie 2021.

La 30 iunie 2022, activele oficiale de rezervă au constituit  3 616,39 mil. dolari SUA, în creștere cu 62,03 mil. dolari SUA în comparație cu 31 mai 2022, când acestea au însumat 3 554,36 mil. dolari SUA.

По предварительным данным, в I квартале 2022 года, дефицит текущего счета платежного баланса Республики Молдова достиг 532,37 млн. долл. США, счет операций с капиталом зафиксировал дефицит в сумме 7,01 млн. долл. США, а финансовый счет – чистый приток капитала, равный 601,53 млн. долл. США. Международная инвестиционная позиция на 31.03.2022 составила -6 115,29 млн. долл. США, в то время как валовой внешний долг достиг 8 986,79 млн. долл. США.

According to preliminary data, in Quarter I, 2022, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 532,37 million, the capital account registered a negative balance amounting to US$ 7,01 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 601,53 million. As of 03/31/2022, the international investment position amounted to US$ -6 115,29 million, while the gross external debt totaled US$ 8 986,79 million.

According to preliminary data, the international investment position recorded a net debit of US$ -6 115,29 million as of 03/31/2022 (or -43,6% as a ratio to GDP), 8,0% more as compared to the end of 2021.

According to preliminary data, the gross external debt of the Republic of Moldova decreased insignificantly by 0,3% as compared to the end of 2021 and totaled US$ 8 986,79 million as of 03/31/2022, which is 64,0% as a ratio to GDP (-1,9 p.p. as against 12/31/2021).
